 This site was slightly different to the ones I
have been involved with in the past because I was the client as well as the
consultant! My football team WhiteleyFC did not have a web site and I thought it would
be a good idea to have a site where members of the team could see the latest league
table, find out where we were playing, find out if they were in the team and also read
match reports.
I built the site concentrating on the areas I felt were most
important, i.e. fixtures, results, league table and next match details. As this was a
site that was going to be used mainly by our team members I tailored the content more
for this purpose rather than for other people not connected with the team.
The domain name www.whiteleyvillagefc.co.uk, was
purchased mainly for the reason that it was cheaper to buy rather than go through the
hassle and cost of buying whiteleyfc.co.uk.
